Every collection begins with a place that inspires us. We study the geography, landmarks, and character of each destination, then reinterpret it through our own distinctive artistic styles. Built By A Traveler
ASKĒO began with two simple frustrations. The most meaningful places I visited were rarely the places represented in travel art and a lot of the AI art was of places that didn’t even exist. They would slap a location name on the art and randomly create some generic mountain scene.
Much of the artwork available online focuses on the same destinations, viewed from the same perspectives, and reproduced in similar styles.
Meanwhile, some of the most remarkable landscapes, villages, mountain trails, and coastlines were almost impossible to find.
ASKĒO was created to change that.
Today, every collection begins with a place worth remembering. We do not create fictional destinations or imaginary landscapes and attach a location name afterward.
Every piece starts with a real place and is designed around the geography, landmarks, and character that make it unique.
Some are iconic destinations. Others are places few travelers ever discover. Each piece is selected, designed, and refined to capture not only the location itself, but the feeling of standing there.
The Philosophy Behind the Name
Askeō is a Greek word rooted in the pursuit of a meaningful life. To practice, to cultivate, and to live with intention. It is a reminder to seek new experiences, explore beyond the ordinary and embrace discovery.
The World Is Bigger Than the Brochure
There is a version of Greece that everyone knows. The blue domes, the whitewashed walls, the crowded ferry ports. Then there is the Greece of ancient gorges, volcanic coastlines, and olive groves older than memory.
There is a version of Italy that fills every travel magazine. And then there is the Italy of terraced vineyards, wild Dolomite ridge lines, and coastlines the crowds never find.
ASKĒO focuses on the uncommon places. The lesser known landscapes. The corners of the world that reward the traveler who goes beyond the obvious.
But sometimes the famous places are famous for a reason. We create those also, but through the distinctive perspective that defines ASKEŌ.
